Just 90 minutes drive from Geneva, Verbier has a well-deserved reputation as a world-class resort, attracting skiers of all levels from across Europe and beyond.
Whether you come as a family for some quality time away from the daily routine, or with a group of friends out to ski hard and party harder, Verbier has plenty to offer.
Skiing
Verbier itself boasts over 412 kilometres of pistes, as well as a wealth of easily-accessed off-piste skiing. You can cruise the gentle tree-lined runs from Savoleyres down into Tzoumaz, stopping at Chez Simon for a spot of lunch, or start from the top of the awesome Mont Fort and ski the piste then the itinerary run down the Col des Gentianes right down into Siviez, 1,600 metres below.
Après Ski
Verbier takes its après-ski pretty seriously. Relax with a vin chaud and watch the world go by from the window at Garbos, enjoy a lively beer or three on the terrace at the pub Mont Fort, or dance on the bar to the live band at the Farinet.
Restaurants
The resort has a wide variety of restaurants from Michelin-starred haute cuisine to humble but delicious pizzas, with plenty of places to enjoy traditional Swiss and local Valais specialities on the staff's night off.
