Below are some details of how to get to Verbier – see the links page for sources of more information.

By Air

The closest major airport to Verbier is Geneva. Easyjet, BA, BMIbaby, Flybe, Jet2 and Swiss all operate regular services from the UK. (Sion airport is closer, Swiss operates a daily service from London City airport from January.)

By car / rental car from Geneva

The drive from Geneva normally takes around 90 minutes, although this can be longer at peak times during the season or when there is heavy snow. Take the N1 heading towards Luasanne, then the N9 sign posted Grand St Bernard and then Martigny. From Martigny, follow signs for the Italy, Grand St. Bernard and finally Le Chable/Verbier. From the village of Le Chable, Verbier is clearly sign posted.

The car hire desks are to your left as you leave customs and the car pick up is right under the terminal. Book and pay in advance for the best deals. The chalet has parking space for up to 3 cars.

Taxi transfers from Geneva

Due to Swiss regulations, we cannot provide transfers to the resort, however we would be delighted to help you organise your transfer. Early booking is essential.

From Geneva airport a shared ‘shuttle’ service runs approx every 3 hours on Saturday. Price per person is around 75ChF one way and 140ChF return. For groups between 5 and 10 the return price is about 120ChF.

A private transfer can be arranged from about 940ChF return (1-4 people, additional people 85ChF each).

A standard return journey for 12 people is 1600ChF.

Helicopter transfer from Geneva
Weather permitting, Air Glaciers will get you to Verbier in just 35 minutes for 2,950ChF. Maximum of 5 people. Please ask us for details.

Train from Geneva airport

The station at Geneva airport is conveniently located underneath the terminal itself, about 100m from the arrivals / baggage claim. Turn left once you go through customs and walk straight to the end of the terminal. Trains depart for Brig/Simplon every 45-60 minutes via Lausanne (some trains require a change here) to Martigny. At Martigny, use the underpass to reach the dedicated platform for the Grand St Bernard Express up to Le Châble. From right outside Le Châble train station, you can catch the Post Bus or take a taxi up to Verbier itself. We can book one for you. If you are not carrying skis or snowboards, you can get the cable car up into the resort (8.30am til 6.30pm)

If you arrive on a late flight you may have to take a taxi from Martigny to Verbier at 120ChF for up to four people.

If you call us as you arrive in Le Châble, we will meet you as you arrive in Verbier and bring you to the chalet.
